New Job. MAYHEM Rocks.

Yes. I have a job, a real 8-5 five days a week job. Actually I am at work now. No, I am not slacking off, I am on lunch break. So I am here at Micronetics in Hudson. What do I do? I will normally be repairing old desktops and supporting users when their PCs act up, but today was/is a moving day. Me and the entire (2) IT staff cleared out and reorganized the IT Deptartment room (20x14). Other than thatI haven't really gotten started on what I will normally be doing.

OK, thats enough of the boring stuff. Mechanical MAYHEM went to Mayhem in Merrimack this past Saturday. We did extremely well. First of all, we built a second robot in three days. The 3-day robot placed 9th of 16 robots. Our primary bot was impressive. It won every single match right up to and including the finals. The bot completed 14 rounds (not including the wons it would have won that were restarted). So 1519 ended up with 1 top seed award, 2 champion awards (we chose our second bot for our alliance), 1 human player award(Ben S creamed them all), and 1 techical award. It was so great to watch the bot get bumped in autonomous and automatically realign the shooter and score all ten balls anyway!
