Blogging is Dead...

Okay, Okay, maybe blogging isn't dead, but it sure has fallen downhill on me and my friend's list of regular activities... Why? I don't know. It is probably a mixture of being busy and the lack of updates on other peoples parts. It may also be due to the decrease in the commentation of entries. Along those lines, comments are a motivation to keep posting, and when you get few to no comments it doesn't urge you on to keep writing because you have no way of knowing that people see what you write and care. I think this is the biggest reason my friends have pulled away from the blogging thing. I myself have never enjoyed much in the way of comments (mainly because I went against the grain and got a blog outside of Xanga...), but others have and when their comment counts went down so did there post frequency. One of the underlining problems that causes comment count to go down is boring or useless posts. I have also fallen victim to this cop-out of a post (for example my previous post entitled 'Rain...').
