Updates!!

So guess what? I finally realized that I haven't updated in nearly a month!

Since Jan 21 quite a bit has happened. School has been getting progressively more and more stressful. I have to be dressed for an interview (dressed up to the level of wearing a tie) every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Out of the five classes I have this semester I share four of them with this one kid. Last semester I had two classes with him. He is a nice guy though. Enough about school though!

FIRST Robotics has kicked into high gear so to speak since my last update. We are nearly finished putting together the major components. The game challenge this year requires teams to be able to pick up 7in. poof balls (note: as of posting the page has a notice for FIRST teams, haha)and launch them into one of three goals. Our robot has the ability ot pick up the balls, and launch them, but some of the guts in between the two mechanisms are still being worked on. I have been working on the mechanism to load the balls from a hopper (which hasn't been finished yet) into the ball shooter since last week, and before that I mostly concentrated on updates to our website, which is still under construction...

In other news: I had one three day span in which i only got 10 hours of sleep, and I haven't really recovered from that... My best friend has shipped off to Basic Training and Advanced Infantry Training until mid June, leaving nearly all of his technological toys in my keeping. So yeah things are happening. I use this as an excuse to update my blog, but it really shouldn't be one. I really enjoy blogging as it gives me a chance to communicate with my friends and reflect on whats going on in my own life. Plus it is a way to kick back for a moment.
