Since my last update I have finished my first semester of school. So far I know I have an A- in English (Really big surprise!) and an A in Calculus. My other courses (Macroeconomics and Intro to Programming) I don't know yet. Enough about school! School is done for a little while.
Over the break I am going to do some work at the church, handyman stuff. In addition to that I really want to get some serious website work done, but I doubt I will. Also I will be doing some stuff over at the college. I will be proctoring tests. Basically that means I will be setting some people up to take tests on the computer and then will be sitting around while they finish their tests for a few hours. Plus they pay you! I will have all the basic necessities of life. An internet connection, shelter, clothes, food, and the rest.
I have a feeling that this break will be over too soon. Time seems to be on an accelerated pace for some reason. Maybe it is because I am getting older. why does everything only get more complicated!?
I feel like writing more so hear I go...
I just got BF2: Special Forces. Awesome game, well worth the money (No, I didn't buy it, Brian did). brian is basking in the light of decent paying job and no expenses. I am suffering the opposite. No real job, and expenses. ugh. Oh, most of you know, but for those who don't my car has gone through a series of nasty turns. It stated with being rear-ended (not my fault, ergo I didn't have to pay, but it still happened). The estimate was about $680. Between the collision and the time it was in the shop I noticed a cooling fluid leak. It went into the collision center over Thanksgiving. They were only supposed to have the car for 3 days, but ended up keeping it for about 2 weeks. Plus they ended up putting close to $1500 in repairs to the vehicle. Once I got it back, promply sent it to the mechanics to get the fluid leak checked and get my front drive shaft fixed and reinstalled (so I could have four wheel drive without danger of killing myself). They kept the car for a week and the cost was pretty close to $1000. That was money out-of-pocket, my parents covered that for now anyway... If that wasn't enough, the car decided to add insult to injury by having a crack show up in the front window. the next day it expanded to span the entire base of the windshield. Did I mention the rear suspension doesn't look to great? so In the past month roughly $2500 in repairs have gone into the car I paid $2000 for... argh...
oh well, bedtime. does anybody read this?
