It was a dark and stormy night....

OK so it was neither dark nor night at the time, but it gave that effect...

Adam and I had a run in with a storm last night. I was visiting Adam while he is dog-sitting. In any event, the wind picked up. This was a precursor to the coming monsoon-like storm, ok I exagerate... So here is the setting: Adam and I sitting in someone elses home watching a horror film while it begins to get stormy. Right as we get to a tense moment in the film we hear a cracking, quickly we both glanced towards the big window, mind you it is only about 5 feet away from me. As we looked, we watch a 6 or so inch diameter (edit: I just went out and took a closer look, it seems more like 8-10 inches) tree branch fall, brush the window with its leaves, and land maybe 10 feet from the house. the first thing that came to my mind was how wonderfully merciful God was at that moment.
